Regardless of what happens, I still plan to update my mods and tools for new patches until the end of TS4’s lifespan, so don’t worry about that. I lost motivation back in early 2018 as well, but eventually got it back, so maybe I’ll get it back again after taking a break… or maybe I won’t, I’m not sure. I’m not sure what will happen after that. It also contains a new feature called “subtraits”, which lets you define trait features that the player can turn on and off in game. It lets you create semi-active careers (the kind that were introduced in City Living) using the same objective system as aspirations. I still plan to release the next update for Mod Constructor at the end of this month (it was originally supposed to be last month, but I did everything slowly because of the lack of motivation). I keep on thinking about how I’d rather be making indie games (I still plan to have one out around 2020, although at this point it will likely be late 2020 or early 2021), and keep forcing myself to keep up with the TS4 stuff because it’s unfinished work that I kind of promised. The truth is… I’ve started to feel burned out to the point they feel more like an obligation than something I enjoy doing. So, you might have noticed I’ve been getting less active lately with my Sims 4 mods and programs.
